Well…Summer sure did go by fast, didn’t it?!?!? School is back in session, leaves are starting to turn and families are getting back into a regular rhythm of life. God but us as. a people of rhythm. Fall reminds us of that and many welcome the routine and rhythm that comes after the randomness of Summer.
But what about or spiritual rhythms? Do you have a spiritual rhythm to your life? Is worshiping with the gathered Jesus Community a part of your rhythm? Daily Bible study? The habit of prayer? Connecting with others throughout the week in the Jesus Community to stay connected?
If you have felt disconnected in any of these areas, this season of reset and rhythm is a good way to start pressing into healthy spiritual rhythms.

Music Team Recruiting
Music is one of the gifts God has given to the church to bring glory to his name. The beauty of music is that it is a universal language God uses to speak and touch hearts. While we don’t all share the same love for styles of music, you would be hard pressed to find a culture that does not have a form of music that moves the heart of people. This is what makes music so valuable to the church as a means to bring glory and honor to God and to connect our hearts to his heart.
With this in mind, we are in a season where we are looking to grow and develop our music team at OAC.
Our Worship Leader, Amy Skinner, is actively recruiting instrumentalists (acoustic guitarists, electric guitarists, bass guitarists, drummers, keyboard/piano players) or prospective instrumentalists (adult and youth) to start building our music team for Sunday morning worship.

Financial Update
Over the past few months, we have seen a decline in financial support. This often happens during the summer as people travel, but the drop-off is more considerable than usual. However, this challenges us, especially as we operate on a more streamlined budget.
We will continue to trust God that he is providing exactly what he intends to provide through your generous support and we will make adjustments as needed based on the contributions of our church family.
