SUMMARY:2025 Fall Refocus Retreat\, His Masterpiece: Jars of Clay
DESCRIPTION:The Northeastern District Alliance Women Fall Refocus retreat will be here before youknow it. Join us for a weekend of relaxation\, reflection\, and rejuvenation at beautiful Delta Lake Bible Conference Center. This weekend will be centered on the theme HisMasterpiece: Jars of Clay and is the perfect opportunity to connect with other women\, grow in your faith and refocus your mind and spirit. There will also be plenty of opportunity for reflection\, prayer\, free time\, fun and fellowship. \n\n\n\nThe retreat will take place at on Friday afternoon\, September 26th with dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. and go through Sunday\, September 28th\, ending at 3:00 p.m.There is an option to only stay until Saturday afternoon\, but I would encourage to stay the entire weekend to get the most out of it. Join us for worship\, teaching\, prayer stations\, free time\, fun activities\, fellowship and encouragement. Don’t miss out on this incredible retreat experience!Our speaker for Friday and Saturday is Megan Owens. Megan is a children’s pastor in Rochester\, NY. Megan completed the Alliance School of Ministry in 2023. She is passionate about helping people find freedom in God’s presence through spiritual disciplines.Please note that registration is online only\, and all of the information needed to register can be found on information sheet I’m sending you. The online registration will allow you to register multiple people. \n\n\n\nThere will also be an opportunity to shop from Mercy Market which is an organization that supports women around the world by offering handcrafted items made by those women.Generous Roasting Company\, a ministry of Delta Lake Bible Conference center will have bags of coffee for sale. One may be assigned to join your group if needed.Please do not ask for a private room. SUMMARY:Alliance Women Fall Refocus
DESCRIPTION:The Fall Refocus will be at Delta Lake Bible Conference Center in Rome\, NY on Friday afternoon\, September 29th through Saturday\, September 30th. We are starting the conference with dinner this year (in years past it was an additional cost and is included in the price this year) which will begin at 5:30 p.m. \n\n\n\nThe theme for our conference is Rise Up and Make Disciples! and we will be focusing on discipleship. Often\, we think that making disciples is for paid clergy or ministry leaders and yet\, as Christ-followers\, we are all called to make disciples. This conference is for all women who have a desire to see others grow once they come to Christ. There are women in our lives who need the encouragement and growth that happens as we walk with the Lord. \n\n\n\nBut what does making disciples mean and what does it look like? Many are perplexed on how to begin. Lisa Vogan\, our district Disciplemaking Ministries Specialist will be giving us some practical ways to do this no matter where we are and what role we play in the church. She will be sharing over 3 sessions during the weekend as well as giving plenty of opportunity for discussion and breakout sessions. \n\n\n\nWe will also have one of our district International Workers\, Krista Ellenberger\, with us to share about her and her husband Keith’s ministry in West Africa. \n\n\n\nThere will also be an opportunity to shop from Mercy Market which is an organization that supports women from around the world by offering handcrafted items made by those women. We will be taking up two separate offerings at the event. \n\n\n\nThe early bird registration deadline is September 15th. After September 15th the registration will be $10 more. The FINAL deadline September 20th. PLEASE note\, we have a contract with Delta this year and cannot take any registrations after this date.  \n\n\n\nA note from Catalina: \n\n\n\nThe cost for this conference is $88. This includes meals\, AND linens this year!  If you tend to run on the cool side\, feel free to bring an extra blanket.  The early bird special ends on September 15th. The price goes up $10 more after that.  We would like to have all registrations in by September 10th so we can cut the check and send it to the District in time to get the discount.  \n\n\n\nRooms at Delta Lake are dorm style which means you will have bunk mates.  Please make sure to list who you would like to bunk with or I can match you up with others. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in attending\, please pick up a registration form at the church or contact me at (775) 230-4440.  You can pay cash or make a check out to NED AW.  \n\n\n\nThis is such a great time for fellowship\, fun\, encouragement\, but most of all\, growing closer to God!
