DESCRIPTION:Auditions for Easter Program featuring our children & youth ages Pre-K to grade 12 at OAC!\n\n\n\nAll children are welcome to participate! If your child would like to audition for a speaking role or a solo\, we will be holding auditions after church on 2/8. \n\n\n\nScripts and sheet music will be available after church next Sunday (2/1) at the back of the sanctuary if they would like to look it over before the audition. \n\n\n\n**Students do not need to have anything memorized for auditions. \n\n\n\nThe Easter Program will be performed Easter Sunday during the Service\, April 5th\, 2026 @ 10:00 am.\n\n\n\nThe program includes skits\, songs\, and scripture readings to retell the story of Christ’s death and resurrection. \n\n\n\nThe central theme is a news broadcast. TV news shows use all sorts of gimmicks to tell us what’s happening in the world and why it is important. But of all the stories ever shared\, none has had more impact on our world and people’s lives than the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection. \n\n\n\nThis program will teach kids the importance of the Easter story and how we\, as believers\, must respond to it. DESCRIPTION:If Oswego City Schools are closed due to the weather our event is cancelled.  \n\n\n\nIf Oswego City Schools are delayed two hours\, our event will be delayed two hours. \n\n\n\nThis group is free and open to the public. \n\n\n\nContact Judy Smith through the church office to attend. office@oswegoalliance.org \n\n\n\nYou’re not a quilter? It’s ok! We invite and encourage anybody who does some type of a craft!  Looking to connect with others? Come join us! \n\n\n\nYou can’t sew? No Problem! Come knit\, crochet\, make cards\, do diamond dots or some other craft. \n\n\n\n We set up tables in the big room for anyone to use and simply ask that they let us know if they’ll be attending that weekend.  \n\n\n\n We provide the ironing boards with irons\, have a donation table\, as well as tables to sit at while having lunch or a snack.  Bring snack items to share as we don’t provide any meals. Coffee is available! \n\n\n\n  While we don’t teach the art of sewing a quilt top\, many are experienced quilters and are willing to help the new beginner. \n\n\n\nWe meet mostly on the 2nd weekend of the month\, although occasionally the weekend needs to be changed due to conflicts. Once a year the ladies do not meet at the church and instead have a 4 day quilting/crafting retreat at Delta Lake in September.

DESCRIPTION:When is the Mercantile Open?\n\n\n\nOpen Most Fridays from 11 am – 3 pm \n\n\n\nIs the Mercantile ever closed?\n\n\n\nMost months have 4 Fridays and those months the Mercantile will be open every Friday. When a month has 5 Fridays\, the Mercantile will be closed on the 5th Friday of the month. This year\, 2026\, the Mercantile will be closed January 30th\, May 29th\, July 31st and October 30th. \n\n\n\nWe are also closed on Fridays around a holiday: the Friday after New Year’s Day\, January 2nd\, the Friday before Easter\, April 3rd; Friday July 3rd; the Friday of VBS\, TBD\, the Friday after Thanksgiving\, November 27th; Christmas Day\, December 25th; and New Years Day\, January 1st\, 2027. \n\n\n\nDuring the Winter Weather if Oswego City Schools are closed\, we are closed.
