It was customary to express gratitude for a bountiful harvest in the cultures of both the Pilgrims who sailed from England in 1620 and the Native Americans they encountered. \n\n\n\nAt its core\, Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude\, a virtue that resonates deeply with the Christian faith. Gratitude is more than just the acknowledgment of blessings; it is a profound recognition of the divine benevolence and provision that permeates every aspect of our lives. \n\n\n\nWe will have a time of sharing praise to God for what He has done in our lives throughout 2024.  \n\n\n\nWe are asking you as families or individuals to find a rock on which to write a word of gratitude that expresses your thanks to God. We will place these with the other rocks on the platform.

DESCRIPTION:Free Thanksgiving Day Dinner Delivery – November 28th \n\n\n\nOswego Alliance Church will again be offering a Free Thanksgiving Day dinner.  \n\n\n\nDinner will include turkey a la king over biscuits\, cabbage salad\, and apple or pumpkin pie. \n\n\n\nPlease call the church office @ 315-342-5493 and leave a message to place your order if you would like a dinner to be delivered to your house on Thanksgiving Day morning.  \n\n\n\nDelivery is 10am-Noon. \n\n\n\nPlease leave your name\, phone number\, address and how many meals you would like. \n\n\n\nAll those ordering dinners must reside in the Oswego City School District.  \n\n\n\nAll dinners must be preordered and delivered\, and there will be no dine in option. \n\n\n\nLast day to preorder is November 25th by 12 noon. \n\n\n\n***There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex if you are able to donate any items needed for this dinner.  Drivers are needed for delivery. ***
