SUMMARY:Quilting/Crafting weekend
DESCRIPTION:Friday 10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am-4:00 pm \n\n\n\nThis group is free and open to the public.  \n\n\n\nYou’re not a quilter? It’s ok!  We invite and encourage anybody who does some type of a craft!  Looking to connect with others? Come join us! \n\n\n\nYou can’t sew? No Problem! Come knit\, crochet\, make cards\, do diamond dots or some other craft. \n\n\n\n We set up tables in the big room for anyone to use and simply ask that they let us know if they’ll be attending that weekend.   \n\n\n\n We provide the ironing boards with irons\, have a donation table\, as well as tables to sit at while having lunch or a snack.  Bring snack items to share as we don’t provide any meals. Coffee is available! \n\n\n\n  While we don’t teach the art of sewing a quilt top\, many are experienced quilters and are willing to help the new beginner. \n\n\n\nWe meet mostly on the 2nd weekend of the month\, although occasionally the weekend needs to be changed due to conflicts. Once a year the ladies do not meet at the church and instead have a 4 day quilting/crafting retreat at Delta Lake in September.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease contact Judy Smith through the office if you will be attending office@oswegoalliance.org

SUMMARY:Parents Night Out: Presented by Foster life
DESCRIPTION:Change in date: This month our Parents Night out will be held the 2nd Saturday of the month\, June 14th. \n\n\n\nFoster Life of Oswego County is a ministry created by a group of local foster families who have a heart to recruit\, equip\, and encourage other foster families in our community.  We aim to do so by offering monthly respite events that provide free childcare while parents have a few hours to themselves\, by offering support groups and trainings\, and by providing meals for foster families when needed. \n\n\n\nOur monthly respite event is usually held the first Saturday of the month from September through June. The event runs from 4-7pm and is held at the Oswego Alliance Church. Foster and adoptive families can drop off all children in their family for a night of fun! \n\n\n\nWe are always looking for more volunteers to help run our respite night events. If you have interest in spending a few hours with some fun kids please let us know! \n\n\n\nAny questions or requests for more information can be sent to fosterlifeoswegocounty@gmail.com
